Ballard designs inspiration

I loveeeeee these cute lil ceramic bottles from Ballard designs. Isn't that beautiful?????

They are plain but thatz jus what i liked...mmmm..but....its almost $49 for a set of 5 ....mmmm.......itzzz jus completely out of my price range.
but i really wanted a few of those.....then i started thinking and realized that i could actually make the same thing myself.yeahhh...i spray painted a few glass bottles that i had ,to create somethin similar.....
let me tell u how to do it..
You will need a few glass bottles, spray paint of your choice of colour, and clear -top coat (glossy or matte).
Firstly clean the bottle well, make sure the surface is free from dirt and grease, etc.Remove the cap and the mettalic rim from the bottle.

Now give the first coat of spray paint.let it dry....i feel several thin coats of paint allowing each coat to dry for at least 10 minutes ,are better than one heavy coat.

Spray the final layer of clear top coat.(optional) ..
look at the result!!!i love them..

Khayangan Estate,Bali

Bali is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. If milessssss of sandy beaches, picturesque rice terraces, faaaast flowing rivers, pristine crater lakes, sacred caves, lush tropical forests...................... are in your mind ,then you have to be in BALI. Bali offers you a list of private, luxury resorts and villas.
i have fallen in love with this beauuuuuutifuul, exotic and magical resort -'Khayangan Estate' ,Bali. Here are a few glimpses of the same.
The Sultan President Suite
The name ‘Khayangan’ comes from the Sanskrit word for ‘Seventh Heaven’. This private Bali villa estate is stunning and heavenly. In fact, we believe it is the very best of the Bali luxury villas. It is situated in Uluwatu, next to Bvlgari Bali Resort, in one and a half hectares of lovely gardens. It rests on a cliff top, 170 metres above a white sand beach. The estate offers one of the best views in Bali, with a 180 degree vista of the Indian Ocean. There are few other luxury Bali villas with such a good view.
The estate’s charm lies in its unique design. It comprises two clusters of traditional, antique, wooden Javanese houses, known as joglos. These were once the homes of noble men. They have been carefully grouped to echo the feeling of a historical village in Java. And they have now been transformed into private Bali villas. The villas are set in a huge terraced garden, with dense beds of yellow irises, gently swaying palms, and fragrant flowering trees. Khayangan is totally unique. It is quite different from any other luxury Bali villa or luxury Bali resort.
The original charm of these one hundred year old buildings has been preserved. The Bali luxury villas are completed with old teak wood. Here, you will find rich furnishings and decoration, as well as state of the art entertainment and communication facilities. Bathrooms are the sexiest on the island, especially those of the two master bedrooms. Each has a private water garden, where a dreamy bath tub appears to float in a clear pond. The design of this luxury Bali villa estate presents guests with the choice of a three bedroom or a six bedroom renting option. There are two big swimming pools, two smaller pools, and a chilled plunge pool. There is also a business centre, a cliff edge gazebo, a tennis court, a gym, and a lavish spa.

Flower arrangements

Flower arrangements are one of my favourite things ,when decorating. They add that perfect finishing touch.
They add soo....much of energy ,life and colour to the room. The best flower arrangement should have a good combination of flowers and texture. You can make an arrangement yourself if you can follow a few rules.
  • Firstly put your greenery in the vase ,this will old the flowers in the right position.
  • Secondly make sure you remove the bottom leaves and cut the bottom of the stem at an angle, this will make your flower arrangement last longer.
  • Next ,add flowers...while placing the flowers in the vase think in odd numbers.Odd number of flowers looks better than even numbers.Start of with the tallest flower ,this will give you an idea about the height if the arrangement.
  • Now add the filler flowers ,they are shorter and fill up the empty spaces in an arrangement.Check out this one ..Flower arrangement
im sure it will help you out.

Kaya Kalp-The Royal Spa

Kaya Kalp-The royal spa, an ultra luxurious addition to the ITC's 35 acre resort hotel,The Mughal ,at Agra.
The 99,000-square-foot heaven is an expression of the culture and the rich architectural tradition of the mughals.
Antique brass, stainless steel, laser cut red engineered marble and white terrazzo used in pomegranate leitmotif are approached as a major decorative scheme throughout the spa. These materials are accentuated with pale grey sandstone ,convex mirror mosaic and dark oak wood, accompanied by velvety fabrics in shades of ruby red ,dark platinum and mother of pearl.
here are a few pics.....

Pomegranates form the leitmotif of the design.

i lovee the inlay pattern on the floor. Here the ivory colour pallete is broken in places by mirror mosaic and red furnishing.

the walls and seats are lined in pearl white and gold mosaic.
The relaxation room
The 25 -metre pool of the spa.isn't it fantastic???????
